TANKER driver Jim Blues failed in his bid to win a big holiday in the new series of The National Lottery Jet Set.
But Jim, of Golcar, is in with another chance!
A national audience saw Jim, 41, when he appeared on the show on BBC1 on Saturday night.
And they will get the chance to see him again this Saturday because he made it down to the final stages - although he was ultimately beaten by the previous week's winner.
"As the losing finalist you get the chance to go back again for another try," said Jim. "It's a bit of fun; something to look forward to."
The general knowledge show is filmed live from the BBC's TV Centre in London.
The BBC pays expenses for contestants, who are in line to win the holiday of a lifetime.
Jim said: "It's about £10,000 a week that they spend, so it is worth applying as it is not the sort of holiday you could normally afford.
"You have to have your bags packed and be ready to go anywhere - hot, cold or indifferent. As the losing winner you can try again - but it is a bit of an ordeal."
