A man has appeared in court accused of assaulting his partner.
Joe Kershaw, 26, was before Kirklees Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
He faces charges of assaulting Amy Goodwin and harassing her.
The alleged incidents happened at her home in Fieldhead Gardens, Dewsbury, on October 13.
Kershaw, of Quarry Lane in the town, denies the charges and his trial will take place on June 6.
In the meantime he is banned from contacting Miss Goodwin or going to her home.
