BURN calories, have fun and raise money for charity.

Kirklees Active Leisure is hosting three huge family Zumbathon classes on Monday to raise money for Kirklees mayor Clr Eric Firth’s chosen charity – The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.

The action-packed classes will run between 10.30am and 11.30am at Huddersfield Sports Centre, Batley Sports and Tennis Centre and Dewsbury Sports Centre.

Zumba is a high energy dance class designed to burn calories whilst having fun. The classes are open to everyone above the age of 11.

Besides joining the fitness party, donations are welcome on the day to raise money for a great cause.

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice aims to provide care and support for children with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, organ failure, severe cerebral palsy and many more.

In addition the families receive support as they face unimaginable practical and emotional challenges.

Spaces are limited and participants need to book in advance.

All money raised will be donated to Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
