A MAN was appearing in court this afternoon charged with the manslaughter of Huddersfield woman Jolene Potter-Connolly.

The 23-year-old suffered horrific injuries as she was dragged to her death by a car in the early hours of September 11 last year.

Jolene, who was awarded an upper second class honours degree form Huddersfield University last year, died in the incident at the car park of the Folly Hall Leisure Complex in St Thomas' Road, Huddersfield.

She and American fiance Jon Eicher, 30, were planning to marry.
