THE JURY in the case of a Shepley man accused of the manslaughter of Jolene Potter-Connolly today continued their deliberations at Leeds Crown Court.

Miss Potter-Connolly, 23, of Broken Cross, Almondbury, died after she was dragged 168m beneath Eton Brewins's car after an argument in the car park of the Visage nightclub, at St Thomas's Road, Folly Hall, in the early hours of September 11 last year.

Brewins, 26, of Field Head, denies charges of manslaughter and causing death by dangerous driving.

The seven male and five female jurors retired to consider their verdict at lunchtime yesterday, the seventh day of the trial.
