COMMUNITY groups in Newsome are to get together to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.
Meetings are to take place on April 25 to plan the celebrations.
They are set to include a Flower Festival in late May at St John’s Church, Newsome, and concerts by the Huddersfield Young Singers and Honley Ladies Choir.
There will also be a Jubilee Queen, a brass band concert and a dance.
The April 25 meetings are at St John’s Church and will be held at 10am and 2pm.
