THE Marsden Moor Estate has a new property manager.
She is Judith Patrick who replaces Guy Laurie who moved to pastures new at the end of February.
Judith will be responsible for Marsden Moor and Hardcastle Crags from April 26. Judith joins the National Trust from the Coalfields Regeneration Trust where she was regional programme manager.
Her previous experience includes working as a community development worker for the Yorkshire Rural Community Council and acting as regional network co-ordinator for action for market towns.
She has a qualification in countryside management and is greatly looking forward to her new role.
Judith was brought up in Halifax and lives in Huddersfield.
She is an active volunteer for Penistone Farmers Market and has her own small herd of pedigree cattle and rare breed sheep.
