A RARE ticket for a Huddersfield Town FA Cup Final is expected to sell at auction for up to £600.

It goes under the hammer at Christie's in London on September 21.

The game against Arsenal was Town's fourth appearance in a Cup Final.

Sadly, they were to lose 2-0, a victory which gave the London club its first major honour.

The match later became known as the Zeppelin final, after a giant German airship flew over Wembley Stadium and dipped its nose in salute to King George V.

The ticket for seat 19 in row 23 cost 10 shillings and sixpence - just over 50p.

It was the same year in which Amy Johnson was the first woman to fly solo to Australia and 52-year-old Yorkshire all-round cricketer Wilfred Rhodes became the oldest man to play in a Test match.

Hundreds of football items are for sale in the auction, including the shirt worn by Pele when he played for Brazil against Sweden in the 1958 World Cup.

Experts predict it will go for more than £70,000.
