A woman who is the granddaughter of former Government drugs tsar Keith Hellawell will be sentenced next month for drugs offences.

Gabriella Attidore has admitted supplying drugs in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Attidore, of Caldercliffe Road, Taylor Hill, Huddersfield, pleaded guilty to supplying crack cocaine when she appeared at Maidstone Crown Court by TV link from Leeds Crown Court.

Prosecutor John O’Higgins told an earlier hearing the drugs were found when the 22-year-old was stopped while driving a car in Tunbridge Wells on June 25.

Cedric Makiadi, 27, of Waterswood, Catford, south east London, who was also in the car, has admitted to possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply.

He had 60 wraps of crack cocaine in his underpants.

The court heard Attidore’s mobile phone had a “strong suggestion” of drug use on it.

Attidore will be sentenced with Makiadi on August 6. Bail was continued.

Mr Hellawell is a former Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police.
