THE funeral of a murdered 24-year-old prostitute was being held today.

Paula Clennell was one of five Ipswich prostitutes found murdered in Ipswich, Suffolk, over a fortnight in December.

The service was being held in her home town of Berwick.

The funeral of another of the victims, Annette Nicholls, 29, of Ipswich, was held on Tuesday.

She was buried at a cemetery in the town following the service, attended by about 50 people.

The funerals of the other three victims - Huddersfield woman Anneli Alderton, 24, formerly of Primrose Hill, Tania Nicol, 19, and Gemma Adams, 25 - are due to take place over the next few weeks.

All five bodies were found naked in isolated locations.

Steve Wright, 48, of Ipswich. has been accused of murdering all five women. He is next due to appear at Ipswich Crown Court in May.
