A MAN has appeared in court accused of dealing class B drugs.

Matthew Attewell, of Turnshaw Road in Kirkburton, was before Huddersfield magistrates yesterday.

The 34-year-old is charged with possession of stimulant drug MCAT with intent to supply. Magistrates were told that his vehicle, a company car, was searched by police at Penistone Road in Kirkburton on October 14.

Police found hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of the drug.

Two properties were also searched and at least £20,000 worth of cash was found at one of the addresses.

Attewell denies the charge.

He was granted conditional bail until his next court appearance on December 12.

The bail conditions are that he lives and sleeps at his address and surrenders all his travel documents.
