CANOEISTS will join an epic fundraiser that passes through Kirklees today.
Members of Pennine Canoe Club will support David Penk as his marathon 700-mile journey along England’s waterways passes through Mirfield, Huddersfield and up to the Colne Valley.
Penk is due to arrive at Mirfield pub The Ship at 1pm and Huddersfield University at 5pm.
His six week journey is set to raise cash for Help For Heroes.
