A SPECIAL awards ceremony was held in Huddersfield.
The Galpharm Stadium event was to celebrate the achievements of Kirklees College’s outstanding students from the Batley, Dewsbury and Huddersfield area.
Over 120 students, of all ages from right across the College, were nominated for awards and received certificates and prizes in recognition of their accomplishments.
Chris Sadler, Principal, said: “The evening celebrated our first year as a merged College. It confirmed that despite the pressures of a merger and the uncertainties it can create the combined College maintained its focus on students and their success”.
