CHILDCARE students from Kirklees College have been raising funds for the children’s ward in Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.

They asked for the money to be split between toys for the activity area and the bravery award scheme for the children run by the staff at the hospital.

The students worked hard to prepare and sell novelty buns throughout the college in their first project.

For their second project they made bead butterfly and lizard bags and phone charms which they sold to other people at college.
