Kirklees Council plans improvements to Varley Road outside Slaithwaite

A STRETCH of a country road will be resurfaced.

A STRETCH of a country road will be resurfaced.

Kirklees Council will upgrade 535 metres of Varley Road running from the Chain Road junction towards Slaithwaite.

The work will begin on July 5 and will include resurfacing, new line markings and kerbs. Walls along the stretch of road will also be improved.

Varley Road links Slaithwaite and Meltham.
