A CHINESE medical centre could be transformed into an Indian takeaway.
Kamaljeet Khela has asked Kirklees Council for permission to set up a hot food shop at 314 Bradford Road in Fartown. The proposed takeaway would be known as Vatan Foods and would sell hot Indian and English food and Indian sweets. The shop, near the junction with Spaines Road, is currently home to Renji Chinese Medicine Centre. Planners will rule on the proposal, which was validated on November 15.
