One lane closed, queueing traffic and long delays due to roadworks on M62 Eastbound between J24 A629 (Ainley Top) and J25 A644 (Brighouse), congestion on M62 to J22 A672 (Rishworth Moor).

Lane one (of three) remains closed, affecting traffic heading from Manchester towards Leeds. The road was due to re-open at 06:00, but overnight roadworks have overran. There has now also been an accident within the queues at J22.
