A THIEF pushed a student over and stole his £1,200 laptop computer.
The 21-year-old victim was walking on a path off Manchester Road in Thornton Lodge when the mugger struck at 9.15pm on Tuesday.
He pushed the student in his back and when he fell to the ground, grabbed his Toshiba computer.
He fled along nearby Springdale Avenue.
The thief is about 6ft tall, with short, black hair. He wore a black jacket and blue jeans.
