YOUNGSTERS are walking tall after their schools were named top of the class.
Scholes Junior and Infant School in Holmfirth and Batley Parish CE Junior, Infant and Nursery are officially among the 200 top primaries in Britain.
Their success was highlighted in annual league tables published today.
All 60 children at both schools who sat year six tests scored full marks.
Teachers said they were exceptionally pleased with the successes.
Talented pupils had a 100% record in maths, English and science.
They sat the national tests in the core subjects last May at their schools.
