A BRIGHOUSE hotel has been granted longer licensing hours despite protests, but councillors have insisted on strict controls over noise and time limits on events in a marquee. Owners of Casa, in Elland Road, Brighouse, have been granted a licence to play music and serve alcohol until the early hours. They can allow drinks to be served in the business's outdoor marquee until midnight when functions are held. Protests had been made by nearby residents who complained about noise.
