SHE may have lost out in The X Factor.

But Carolynne Poole is proving there’s life after the TV talent show.

She has had three gigs in the past four days – and shared a stage with singing legend Leona Lewis.

The Huddersfield singer was the first to be voted off the live shows in this year’s series of The X Factor.

But the country singer, who was being mentored by Take That frontman Gary Barlow, seems to be doing just fine without the talent show.

The 32-year-old supported global superstar Leona Lewis at her G-A-Y gig at Heaven in London on Saturday night.

And on Monday night she was back on stage in Worcester alongside Buddy Holly musical star Glen Joseph.

She had also appeared at a club in Swindon last week.

And the eliminated X Factor contestant has had an effect on this week’s pop charts.

Her sing-off performance of Faith Hill’s ‘There You’ll Be’ saw the original version return to the charts at 36 while her version of Nicki Minaj’s ‘Starships’ saw that song back in at 37.

Actor and musician Joseph tweeted on the Twitter website before the event: “Excited to say that I’m playing guitar for the wonderfully talented Carolynne Poole on Saturday night at G-A-Y in London, supporting multi-platinum, and three time Grammy Award nominee, Leona Lewis.”

And also at the gig at Heaven in London was X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan.

She stopped by the club after performing on the show on Saturday night to support her friend, meeting up backstage.

Carolynne tweeted: “Had a top night last night at G-A-Y loved it! Late night so super tired... Totally worth it tho!”

Carolynne entered The X Factor last year but was eliminated at the judges’ houses stage.

This year she made it through to the first of the live shows, but lost out to singer Rylan Clark after the judges decided to go to the public vote in a deadlock.
