FORENSICS officers swept an area of Linthwaite yesterday following reports of a robbery.
Police said they had received reports of an alleged robbery the previous night on Lowestwood Lane, which had happened in the early hours.
It had involved threats against a young person as opposed to violence. Officers taped off the scene yesterday to begin their investigation and were in the area for around an hour until 2.30pm.
