TODDLER A'Tahje Taylor is set to become a TV star - at the age of 18 months.

And in doing so, he'll be following in the footsteps of his mum.

A'Tahje, of Ripon Avenue, Fartown, is to feature in a prime-time TV commercial for a popular magazine.

His face will appear on our screens in early January, advertising the latest edition of Take A Break.

And his mum Kashelle hopes it could be the first steps on a road to stardom.

A'Tahje has been on the books of a London model agency since he was only 12 months old and has now been chosen to promote the magazine.

Kashelle, 22, who has been acting for the past four years, said:: "It's wonderful news.

"I sent photos of him from the agency to the magazine and then got a phone call from the editor.

"She said they wanted to use A'Tahje in their New Year TV advertising and they tell me he will feature on prime time TV throughout the early part of January.

"I was so happy that it could be a big break for him.

"It would be great to think he could make a career out of modelling.

"I'm still hoping for more acting roles.

"I had a role in a Channel Four drama, Forever, and also played in the daytime soap Doctors.

"Now I've just completed two auditions, one for Coronation Street and one for The Bill, and it is so exciting to think I could get a part in one of those really big series."
