LITTLE bookworms have moved to bigger premises.

The Bookworm children's book shop opened in Huddersfield Road, Meltham, about two-and-a-half years ago.

The new premises, virtually opposite the old ones, are almost three times bigger.

The new shop now has plenty of space for the themed children's parties which owner Liz Rogan - pictured moving some of her stock - is to start running.

Although the new shop opened yesterday, the grand unveiling takes place on Saturday.

Marsden author Steve Augarde will be holding a book signing and giving readings.

And with World Book Day taking place on Thursday the shop will also be accepting book tokens handed out at schools.

Bookworm specialises in titles for all ages up to 15.

The shop, which employs two staff, also runs French lessons for youngsters on Saturday mornings.
