Heckmondwike robbery
A woman in her 40s was left shaken and upset after a group of men stole a shopping bag containing food she had just bought.
The victim was walking alone towards a car park near to the back of a pub in Strawberry Square, Heckmondwike, when she was approached by the men.
They started pulling on her handbag so she handed it to them. They also stole her shopping bag which was full of food.
She walked away unharmed but police officers say she was left upset and shaken by the incident with occurred at 4pm on Wednesday, 23 November.
Here's the latest on the M62 incident
Five vehicles have been involved in a collision at 4.20pm a mile prior to Junction 27 on the Eastbound section of the M62 heading towards Leeds.
A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the vehicles involved a Ford Transit van, Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Fiesta, Ford Mondeo and an Audi.
Lanes three and four are currently blocked while police get to grips with the situation.
There are no reports of injuries so far.

M62 fire update - all lanes reopened
All lanes have now been reopened following the fire on the M62 eastbound between J22 and J23. Traffic was also affected on the other carriageway by people slowing to have a look.

Red Light District inspires Huddersfield singer songwriter

Eastbound
- Two lanes closed and stop-start traffic between J22 A672 (Rishworth Moor) and J23 A640 / A643 (Huddersfield).
- Lanes one and two (of three) are closed going past the farm house where the motorway splits.
Westbound
- Smoke blowing across the road and people slowing to look at accident on M62 Westbound at J22 A672 (Rishworth Moor). Vehicle fire on opposite side of the road.

Sat nav thieves caught on CCTV

A sales manager at a Suzuki dealership in Lockwood is appealing for help after thieves stole a £1,200 integrated sat nav device.
Ali Ijaz of Colin Appleyard Suzuki & Subaru Cars, LockwoodRoad, Folly Hall, said the men aged between 20 and 30 struck at 10pm on November 30.
He said: “We spent £6,000 having CCTV installed in January so we know exactly how long they took to steal it – three-and-a-half minutes.
Barry Sheerman votes against Brexit timetable
Huddersfield MP Barry Sheerman was one of just three northern MPs to vote against triggering Article 50 in line with the government’s timetable.
He was one of 23 Labour ‘rebels’.
Kirklees voted to leave the EU in the June referendum.

Aldi takes on M&S
Aldi is ramping up the battle for Christmas shoppers by increasing its festive food and drinks range as it takes aim at upmarket rivals Marks & Spencer, Waitrose and Fortnum & Mason.
The German discounter said that its Christmas range is 11% bigger this year compared to last, making 2016 its biggest ever line up of festive products.
Aldi added it was “taking on” Marks & Spencer, Waitrose and Fortnum & Mason with almost 200 items including a range of luxury Christmas hampers, rope-hung boxed smoked Scottish salmon and a jewelled layered pork pie.
