Sheep stay warm in the snow at Bolster Moor
Mutton up - it’s cold out there, you know:
Weatherman Paul Stevens says we shouldn’t expect any more snow falls tonight.
The Met Office has yellow warnings in place for ice for tonight and tomorrow, although temperatures look set to settle at about 3-4 degrees tomorrow (scorchio!) so this shouldn’t be too much of a hazard later on in the day.
Meanwhile, in Germany...
This fox was found frozen in blocks of ice on the Danube as temperatures over there drop to -30 degrees. Sadly, the poor creature has already died by the time it was found.

Video shows extent of terrible road conditions due to snow
It may not be snowmageddon today, but one motorist in Holmfirth was forced to turn around when conditions got so bad last night.
Ryan Hamer sent us his scary video which shows the extent of how bad the roads were.
Karen Matthews documentary to be aired tonight
A documentary on Karen Matthews will be aired tonight.
Faking It focuses on the behaviour of Matthews in the days she lied about daughter Shannon being missing, whipping up a media frenzy.
It includes input from former Yorkshire evening Post Crime Reporter Richard Edwards, who reported extensively on the case and even wrote a book on it.
You can catch it on ID channel at 10pm tonight.
Broken down lorry causes chaos at Ainley Top
This was the lorry which broke down at Ainley Top roundabout traffic lights just earlier. As you can see, it’s shut off an entire lane and caused tailbacks going right back onto the M62.

We’re not entirely sure what this picture is supposed to be, but it doesn’t look fun.
Apocalyptic scenes up at Fixby
Just kidding... Here were the scenes up at Fixby and Bradley about an hour ago:
Police up on Greenfield Road
Kirklees Rural officers just posted this picture as they deal with stranded vehicles up at Wessenden Head. Officers said gritters were working hard to get it re-opened.
