Trains disrupted due to Storm Doris

High winds caused by Storm Doris are expected to have a serious impact on the operation of rail services.

To ensure safe operation of trains, Network Rail has imposed a speed restriction of 50mph from 11am to all services between York and Middlesbrough / Newcastle, Leeds and Hull, Sheffield and Cleethorpes, also York and Scarborough.

Customers are advised to allow additional time for your journey if it is essential that you travel and you should check your planned service by visiting the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner or the Live Travel updates section of this site.
