A MAN hurled racist abuse at his neighbours.
Lee Lodge, of Norristhorpe Lane in Liversedge, appeared before Kirklees Magistrates’ Court and admitted a charge of racially aggravated threatening behaviour.
District Judge Jane Goodwin was told that Lodge, 43, had been involved in a dispute with neighbours living in a flat above his for some months.
On November 18 Lodge shouted abuse up at the family’s flat several times.
The woman – who has a mixed race child – called police but Lodge continued to hurl abusive comments and was arrested.
Judge Goodwin gave Lodge a conditional discharge for 18 months. He must pay £85 costs and £15 victim surcharge.
