Local folk singer-songwriter Roger Davies is to play an acoustic set at a Brighouse coffee shop Big Shots Coffee Co.
The coffee shop opened in Brighouse last August and staff hope the gig will be the first of many more.
Roger, also from Brighouse, said: “I always look forward to performing in my hometown and I’m pleased to have been invited.
“I’m about to start a 30-date tour with folk rock band Fairport Convention so it’s a perfect opportunity to celebrate.”
Roger who is nicknamed The Bard of Brighouse is known for his quirky and entertaining tales of West Yorkshire towns and characters.
Stefanie Hopkins, co-founder of Big Shots, said: “We’re thrilled that our first live music event is going to be headlined by one of Yorkshire’s most engaging singers.”
