TWO Huddersfield women are taking on the challenge of the London Marathon on Sunday for two very different charities.

Lucie McLean, 24, from Newsome, is raising money to help fight Huntington's disease.

Her dad, Steve suffered from the disease and died 7 years ago.

Lucie's friend, 22-year-old Victoria Reilly, from Waterloo, is raising cash to help endangered rhinos.

Lucie said: "It's a good way to help raise money for the charity who do so much.

"We both have fundraising webpages where anyone can sponsor us. These are www.justgiving.com/luciemac and www.justgiving.com/victoriareilly.

"We both have £1,000 targets to reach and we have both been training sine October mainly around Waterloo and Wakefield."
