A TEENAGER has appeared in court accused of robbery and assault.
Ross Thorpe, of Black Thornhill Road in Longwood, was before Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
He is accused of robbing Mark Chambers of £50 at the Shell petrol station on Westbourne Road, Marsh.
On the same date the 18-year-old is alleged to have assaulted Mr Chambers, occasioning him actual bodily harm.
District Judge Marie Mallon committed Thorpe’s case to Bradford Crown Court.
He was granted unconditional bail until his first appearance there on January 27.
