Our reporters were out and about in Huddersfield for stage two of the Tour de France Grand Depart on Sunday, with St George's Square the main viewing area for those who chose to watch the action in the town centre.
Fans gathered around the big screen to watch the Caravane and all 197 riders take part in the York-Sheffield journey as Huddersfield celebrated hosting one of the biggest sporting events in the world.
They were able to enjoy various food and drink stalls as well as waving flags and blowing whistles to show their support on a momentous day for the county of Yorkshire.
The crowd slowly but surely built up from an early stage to later on in the afternoon when the riders came through the town centre.
To show you just how the fans formed in the viewing zone, take a look at our gallery of images above - designed to show a time lapse - and our vine below which shows you just how many people turned out to cheer on the riders.
Don't miss the eight-page Tour de France supplement in tomorrow's Examiner and relive all the excitement!
