Drivers in Shepley used up one of their nine lives after escaping a shocking collision unscathed.
Police say they were amazed no-one was injured in the crash between a Lotus Elise and Honda Jazz on Penistone Road on Friday morning.
Emergency services were called to the collision near the Marsh Lane junction shortly before 9am following reports of a three-vehicle road traffic incident between the two black cars and a red Volvo estate.
Debris was left in the road as a result of the impact of the collision, blocking one lane and causing a backlog of traffic as commuters headed to work.
