DRIVERS using the M62 face a series of delays because of roadworks.

The Highways Agency has warned of work over the next few days which will hit thousands of motorists.

Slight delays are expected on the M62 between Junction 22 (Rishworth Moor) and Junction 25 (Brighouse) due to electrical works. There will be various two-lane closures along short stretches in both directions until June 5 between 8pm and 6am.

On the stretch from Outlane (Junction 23) to Brighouse (Junction 25) delays are expected due to bridge works.

There will be various lane closures in both directions between 10pm and 5am until June 13.

Cars will be diverted along the hard shoulder where necessary.

Three lanes of the westbound carriageway will be closed overnight on June 5 and 6 from 9pm until 5.30am for gantry works.

It will hit the stretch from Ainley Top to Brighouse.
