THE final few evening and overnight closures of stretches of the M62 are taking place this week.
The M62 eastbound will be closed between junction 25 Brighouse and junction 26 Cleckheaton tonight between 8pm and 6am and until Saturday April 27.
The road works are part of the final phase of a £150million scheme to widen the carriageway to allow traffic to use the hard shoulder at certain times.
The stretch between Brighouse and Cleckheaton is due to open in June and road resurfacing is now being carried out forcing the overnight closures. Alternative routes will be signposted.
