Motorists are facing up to 90 minutes delay this morning after two lorries crashed on the M62.
The collision occurred at around 7.32am when two HGVs struck each other in the middle lane of the M62 Westbound at junction 26 Chain Bar.
Police attended and both lorries were escorted to the hard shoulder at around 8.45am.
All lanes re-opened at this time but traffic remains backed up between junction 27, M621 (Gildersome) and junction 26, M606 (Chain Bar)
No one was injured in the incident.
