A YOUNG magician will be putting his talent to the test this weekend.
Twelve-year-old Michael Jordan is already a semi-professional and a member of the Northern Magic Circle. He will take part in the circle's annual competition at Ilkley this weekend in the 12 to 14 age section.
He joined the circle four months ago after being a member of the Young Magicians' Club.
Michael, of Scapegoat Hill, said: "My grandad, Barry Jordan, loves doing magic tricks. He got me interested. Being in the Magic Circle is great because you get to learn new tricks and meet other magicians."
Michael now performs at parties.
He has a 15-year-old sister, Siobhan, and their parents are Mark and Geraldine.
