IT was a case of now you see it, now you don't at a restaurant owned by a magician.
One minute there was a wall separating the car park from the pavement. The next minute it was in pieces.
But, expert though he is at sleight of hand, it's one trick that owner Orlando Gubbini has been unable to solve.
Now, he is threatening to stop people parking there unless they are eating at his Italian restaurant, Orlando's, in Wakefield Road, Grange Moor.
Mr Gubbini, a member of Huddersfield Magic Circle who offers his customers the experience of enjoying magic while they dine, said he was upset at the damage.
He said: "Anybody can use the car park, because there's not much room around here.
"It's a meeting place, where people are dropped off and picked up.
"But it's a bit bad the wall has been damaged like this and I might have to chain it off when we're closed," he added.
