A ROAD was blocked for almost two hours after a crash.

A Vauxhall Corsa ended up on its roof after the three-car smash outside the National Coal Mining Museum on Wakefield Road, near Grange Moor, at 6.25pm yesterday.

The other vehicles were a Nissan Primera and a Suzuki Swift.

Firefighters said it was lucky no-one was badly hurt.

Station Officer John Barker, of Dewsbury, said: "Four people were hurt. They were all very lucky to escape with minor injuries.

"It could have been a very serious accident. The car which overturned was badly damaged."
