A MAN was approached by three robbers in a early morning confrontation.
The 40-year-old victim was walking along Sunny Bank, Mirfield, at about 1.20am on Monday when he was approached from behind.
One man grabbed him, turned him around and there was a brief struggle and he fell to the ground.
Demands were then made for the victim’s mobile phone and wallet which he handed over before the suspects fled from the scene. Police have described the suspects as three white men in their mid-teens to early 20s and of medium build. One was about 6ft tall with curly hair and wore a light grey hooded top and bottoms.
The second suspect is about 5ft 10ins tall with short dark hair that has a wavy fringe and was wearing a red T-shirt with a silver or white pattern across the chest. The third suspect wore a light grey, long-sleeved sweatshirt and dark tracksuit bottoms.
