Man, 73, accused of child sexual offences in Dewsbury

A 78-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court accused of seven sexual offences against a child.

A 78-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court accused of seven sexual offences against a child.

Alan Riddlesdin appeared at Kirklees Magistrates yesterday charged with offences of sexual activity, namely touching, with a girl under 13.

The court heard the alleged offences occurred in Dewsbury between November 2011 and May 2012.

Riddlesdin, of St Martin’s Close, Catterick Garrison, will next appear at Leeds Crown Court on June 25. He was granted bail with conditions not to contact named persons.
