One local resident has described how her friend saw the crash.

Yvonne Thompson said:

“My friend Pat was waiting at the next stop to go into town on the 356 bus with her friend and they seen it happen. She said he just walked out in front of the bus. She saw blood on his face afterwards and was shook up about it. She thought it must be bad if they had to send an air ambulance. I hope the poor guy’s alright.”
