Man allowed off his curfew to attend wedding

A MAN has been allowed a night off from his curfew – to attend a wedding.

A MAN has been allowed a night off from his curfew – to attend a wedding.

Adrian Howey, 23, was before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.

The Huddersfield bench was told that he was made subject to a community order on Tuesday April 10.

This was given for his breaching a previous court order for possession of an offensive weapon.

As part of this Howey, of Thornhill in Dewsbury, was given a six-week curfew.

The curfew runs every day between the hours of 7pm and 7am.

But magistrates granted Howey’s request to change this for one night.

He told them that he wanted to attend his aunt’s wedding, which was due to held in Derbyshire today.

They agreed to give him a one night break from his curfew for the event.
