A MAN has been arrested in Huddersfield after a shooting in Fartown.

A MAN has been arrested in Huddersfield after a shooting in Fartown.

The 31-year-old was detained by armed police on suspicion of attempted murder after an incident yesterday in Abbey Road.

The victim was a 30-year-old man who was found at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary with slight injuries caused by gunshot.

Police inquiries are continuing.
