Parents have been warned after a van driver was seen acting suspiciously around children in Huddersfield.

The red Transit was spotted on several occasions around Salendine Nook and Golcar with the driver stopping and talking to school children over the past week.

Police have arrested a man who is helping them with their enquiries, while schools have alerted parents to the issue.

Reports on social media claimed the male driver stopped a girl on Laund Road on Thursday.
