A 26-YEAR-OLD man from Pakistan has been arrested at a popular Marsh takeaway.
UK Border Agency officials swooped on the Spicy Hut curry house at Westbourne Road on Thursday.
Officers detained the man who is now being held at one of their centres.
The man is understood to be an accountancy student at Manchester College.
A spokeswoman said: “It is believed that he was working in breach of his visa conditions.
“He was served with papers and we will be looking at removing him from this country.”
She added that none of the staff at the curry house were in any kind of trouble.
