Police investigating the death of Emma Mansell have arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of murder.

The 39-year-old, who was previously detained in hospital, has now been arrested on suspicion of murder of Emma, 37, who was stabbed to death on Sunday evening at a house on Reinwood Road.

The man, believed to be Jonathan Sutton, has also been arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder of an 11-year-old and a 9-year-old boy.

Two children at the property suffered stab wounds.

He remains in hospital for further treatment medical assessment and enquiries are continuing into the murder by Protective Services Crime.
