A MAN has serious face injuries after being attacked by a gang of men while on a night out in town.
The 20-year-old victim was assaulted in the early hours of Thursday, March, 3, some time between 2am and 3am.
Detectives are now appealing for witnesses who saw what happened.
The man had been drinking in a bar on King Street with his girlfriend.
After leaving, he walked down the street and crossed over the road to speak to another man.
It was then that he was surrounded by a group of men and assaulted.
He and his girlfriend managed to run away, but when they stopped outside the KFC restaurant on Wakefield Road, Huddersfield, they realised he had lost a lot of blood and had serious facial injuries.
