Police are appealing for information after a man was beaten up outside a Huddersfield pub.
The 21-year-old man was set upon by four others in the smoking area of The Hart Bar in Cloth Hall Street.
The assault happened at around 10pm on Saturday. The victim received facial injuries and needed hospital treatment.
The four suspects were described as being aged between 19 and 24.
Det Con Jason Thorpe, of Huddersfield CID, said: “We are investigating this incident in which the victim was seriously injured after being assaulted by four men.
“While he will recover, the consequences could have been much worse and I would like to speak to anyone who saw what took place or has information about those involved.”
