A MAN has appeared in court accused of making threats to a woman.
Craig Whitehead, of Tolson Crescent, Dalton, was before Huddersfield magistrates yesterday.
The 30-year-old is accused of causing Sarah Preston to fear that violence would be used against her.
He is also charged with having a knife in a public place and damaging a wing mirror and door of a Vauxhall Vectra belonging to Miss Preston.
The alleged knife offence took place at Lowerhouses Lane, Lowerhouses, on August 8.
The other two charges are related to Dalton Bank, Dalton, on the same date.
Whitehead denies the charges.
His case was committed for trial to Bradford Crown Court on November 29.
Whitehead’s bail conditions are that he does not contact Miss Preston or go within 250 metres of Dalton Bank Road.
